Ⅰ. Overview and Applications
The 150PSL Type Vertical Sand Pump is an end-suction, single-stage vertical centrifugal pump. This product adopts a dual-seal design combining oil seal and secondary pressure seal, with its inner cavity fully filled with lubricating oil (or grease). During pump operation, it achieves leak-free sealing, featuring reliable sealing performance and a long service life.
It is mainly used to convey mud, mortar, mineral slurry, and similar liquids containing suspended solid particles.
The four main functions of the vertical sand pump in the oilfield drilling solid control system are as follows:

(1) Deliver the drilling fluid (after preliminary sand removal by the mud shaker) into the cyclone desander or desilter at a specific pressure and flow rate to further reduce the sand content in the drilling fluid;

(2) Serve as a priming pump to supply drilling fluid to the mud pump;

(3) Act as a dedicated feed pump for the centrifuge;

(4) Cooperate with the jet mud mixing device (for mud preparation).
